On Monday 2nd February we celebrate the Presentation of the Lord, also known as Candlemas. This feast marks forty days after Christmas. Candles will be blessed at the 10am Mass and distributed to parishioners.
Join our parish team for the CAFOD Big Lent Walk this year. Walk 200km during Lent to raise funds for communities worldwide facing poverty and injustice. Registration forms available in the porch or online at cafod.org.uk.
This Sunday we celebrate the Word of God, instituted by Pope Francis in 2019. We are encouraged to deepen our love for Sacred Scripture. Bibles will be available for blessing at all Masses this weekend.

Collection boxes will be at the back of church this weekend for Lewisham Foodbank. Most needed items include tinned meat, rice, pasta sauce, long-life milk and toiletries. Thank you for your continued generosity to those in need.

Pope Leo XIV has appointed Canon Gerard Bradley as a new Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Southwark. We offer our prayers and congratulations to Bishop-elect Bradley as he prepares for his episcopal ordination.
Young people in Year 10 and above are invited to apply for our Confirmation programme. The course runs from February to May, with the Confirmation Mass celebrated by the Bishop during the Easter season.
Archbishop John Wilson has launched a new apologetics project called 'Ambassadors for Christ'. The year-long video series aims to help Catholics confidently share and explain their faith. Videos are released weekly on YouTube.
